Printing Update
– Tue, Feb 25, 2025 at 11:30:38 AM
Hey everyone!
First, we apologize for the copy-and-paste nature of this update. After reading, you’ll understand why it didn’t make sense to modify it for every campaign we have going on.
THE ISSUE
We wanted to touch base with you on a developing situation that will likely be affecting the production of all our projects for the next several months. In the last few weeks, our primary printer (CPi, based out of the UK) made us aware of a cyber attack that created a network outage and subsequently delayed a few of our campaigns that were just about to start the printing process. At the time, we notified backers of those campaigns, but as time has gone on, it has become clear that their entire production schedule has been impacted.
We don’t know the full scale of this outage from a technical perspective, but we do know that all of their clients are affected. Because of that, we can guess that each day this situation persists has the potential to delay their production schedules days or even weeks at a time.
You can read a bit more about the situation here:https://www.printweek.com/content/news/cpi-tackles-cyber-attack/
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THIS CAMPAIGN?
If this campaign is due to fulfill in the next 6-8 months, it’s very possible there may be some delay on that, ranging from a few weeks to a few months. If this campaign is due to fulfill 9-14 months from now, we are hoping there won’t be any delay at all. Unfortunately, it will all be difficult to predict, so we wanted to let you know regardless.
We have managed to get physical proofs for a couple of campaigns, but even with our approval, CPi will not be able to start the full print run until their systems are back online and they’ve gotten caught up. As we get news from them, we’ll update you all here when relevant.
IN SUMMATION…
There isn’t much Wraithmarked can do short of communicate with you all and be patient as CPi gets their systems back online. In the meantime, if we still have other products left to order for this campaign, such as bookmarks, prints, pins, etc. we’ll continue to get those from our other manufacturing partners as planned.
Finally, if you require assistance with your pledge, need to change your shipping info, or have another question, please send an email to [email protected]. We’re open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm EST and will be happy to help however we can (it usually takes 3 to 5 business days to get back to you, but we do answer all tickets in need of a response). 🙂
Thanks so much for your continued support! We’ll continue to keep y’all posted as this situation gets resolved.

Hi Everyone!
Just a few minutes ago, we got the order placed for everyone's bookmarks! There are usually a few days of back and forth to make sure the designs are going to print well, but once that wraps up, they'll be in process! :)
Once we get word that they're shipping out, we'll let y'all know!
Remaining Surveys Going Out!
– Tue, Jan 21, 2025 at 06:20:16 AM
Hello everyone!
With our backer survey smoke test successful, we're now ready to send out the remaining surveys! :)
Just to reiterate a couple of the tips from our last update, if you don't see your invite email show up by the end of the day today, please take a look at the following:
-
Spam Folder: Survey emails can occasionally find their way to your spam folder. If you don't see anything come through from Backerkit check your spam folder first.
-
Apple ID Email Addresses: If the email address tied to your Kickstarter account is a secure Apple ID address, the survey email may be blocked entirely. The email addresses look something like this: "[email protected]". If you're not seeing the email from Backerkit, check to see if your email address looks like one of these.
- If after checking everything, you can't find your survey, please send an email to [email protected] and we'll help you get access to your survey!
Going Forward
Here is what you can expect in the coming months as we work on fulfilling this project.
-
First, please remember that we operate on a 12-14 month production and fulfillment schedule.
-
As we get all of the products made, you can expect to see an update from us 1-2 times a month. So stay tuned here for all the latest!
-
Once we have the products and are ready to start fulfillment, we will post an update and send an email giving everyone 48 hours to update their addresses if needed. Once that window closes, you will not be able to update your address yourself and will need to contact us directly to make those changes.
- With addresses locked, we will start packing and shipping. This final step will take some time. We appreciate your patience. ❤️
First Batch of Surveys Going Out!
– Fri, Jan 17, 2025 at 05:38:58 AM
Hi Everyone!
We're just about ready to start sending out surveys, but the last piece of that process is what's called a smoke test. To do this, we send out surveys to about 5% of backers to make sure everything in Backerkit is working as it should and that we haven't broken anything. We'll be conducting this test over the next 24-48 hours. If everything goes well, you can expect the rest of the surveys to go out by Monday at the latest!
While we do that, here are a couple of things to keep in mind:
-
Spam Folder: Survey emails can occasionally find their way to your spam folder. Once we announce that all surveys have gone out, if you don't see anything come through from Backerkit check your spam folder first.
-
Apple ID Email Addresses: If the email address tied to your Kickstarter account is a secure Apple ID address, the survey email may be blocked entirely. The email addresses look something like this: "[email protected]". Again, once all surveys go out, if you're not seeing the email from Backerkit, check to see if your email looks like one of these. You can try contacting Kickstarter support to change that, though we've seen backers have mixed results.
- If either of the above situations is the case, or you can't find your email invite at all please send an email to [email protected] to let us know and we'll get that straightened out for you.
-
If you send us a message on Kickstarter we will request that you send the message to our support email instead. Thank you.
A Note on our Support Availability...
There are a couple of us that monitor support emails. We'll introduce ourselves in a future update, but for the moment we want to fill y'all in on our availability.
First, we work 8am-4pm EST, Monday-Friday, excluding all US Holidays. If you contact us via email you can expect us to reply in no more than 3-5 business days at the absolute latest— though typically much sooner than that.
